This is a car that I totally restored from the frame up and has only
375 miles on it since The restoration & engine was rebuilt by John Cosper.
The engine has insert bearings and balanced crank,
lightened flywheel with v8 pressure plate, 5.9:1 Brumfield head.
New Mallory distributor, rebuilt 3.54:1 rear end, tranny & radiator
Labaron Bonney upholstery on interior and rumble seat, ,
gas tank flushed and sealed , 12volt system, turn signals, Alternator,
Halegon headlights, Stone guard, Dove radiator cap with
thermal tube, temp & tach gauges. The car was sand blasted and painted
with acrylic lacquer, then clear coated. Powdered coated rims & new tires
Glenda's 1973 VW Convert.
This is Glendas dream car, that she drives daily.
The engine was replaced this fall with a rebuilt long block
and muffler and manifolds, it needs a new top. The body is in excellent shape,

This car has a Borg Warner overdrive with a 4.11:1 rear end.
This car was soda blasted and painted with acrylic enamel and clear coat.
The top wood was replaced and the car, rumble seat and top reupholstered.
The trunk was modified to a rumble seat.
